CDS 2023 PHYSICAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Just passing the CDS exam won’t cut it. To be a Commissioned Officer in the IMA, INA, IFA or OTA, a student would have to be physically fit as well. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has established the qualifying requirements for Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam 2023:
· The applicant must be physically and intellectually healthy.
· Permanent body tattoos are not permitted.
· There are no hernias anyplace on the body.
· There are no abnormalities or limitations in the in-ear vestibule-cochlear system.
· There are no current cases of congenital venereal disease.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE CDS IN 2023
Only some people are eligible to try CDS. There are some necessary eligibility criteria that are to be fulfilled by an aspirant in order to sit in the examination room.
Age Limit
· The age restriction for CDS 1 2023 for the Indian Military Academy (IMA) & Indian Naval Academy (INA) is that unmarried male candidates born between January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2004, are allowed to apply.
· Candidates applying for the Air Force Academy (AFA) must be between the ages of 20 and 24 on January 1, 2023. They must have been born between the dates of January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2003.
· Unmarried male and female applicants born between January 2, 1998, and January 1, 2004, are eligible to apply for the Officers' Training Academy (OTA).
Education Qualification
· Graduation in any subject from a recognised institution is necessary for the IMA and Officers' Training Academy.
· Candidates for the Indian Naval Academy must have a degree in engineering from a recognised institution.
· Candidates for the Air Force Academy must have a degree in engineering from a recognised institution. They must have passed physics and mathematics in 10+2 equivalent.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
